Brotherhood
Each freshmen is paired to live with a brother that has a similar background or major their first semester at Iowa State. Living in Fiji is not required your first year, but it is strongly suggested so that you can become more acquainted with the house and its members.
Mentoring is important when first joining Fiji. Every freshman also gets to choose an older brother to fill this mentor role. This helps integrate every new member into the house and makes the transition to become part of Fiji easier.
Members have the opportunity to meet other freshmen from different fraternities and sororities through Homecoming, Greek Week, and various other social events.
We are united by friendship. It is the basis of our brotherhood. Because of it, we accomplish far more than we would as individuals.
